About Us

The National Center for Pediatric Palliative Care Homes (NCPPCH) exists to advance a bold but essential goal: ensuring that every family caring for a child with complex medical needs has access to a safe, compassionate, and skilled community-based respite, palliative, and hospice care home.

We are a national nonprofit organization focused on scaling, strengthening, and sustaining this emerging field by providing strategic leadership, policy expertise, education, and direct support to local programs. While pediatric palliative care has grown in hospital settings, access to trusted overnight care in home-like environments remains scarce — especially for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. We are here to change that.

Our work is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, supported by a growing National Advisory Council and Government Affairs Council, and fueled by deep partnerships with families, healthcare leaders, philanthropists, and policymakers across the country.

Together, we are building a national movement — grounded in evidence, compassion, and community — to transform what care looks like for medically fragile children and those who love them.
